I really enjoyed reading The Conspiracy of Us. At first I thought I wouldn’t like it because the main character, Avery, easily trusted strangers. Like, who the heck goes to Paris when a stranger danger guy tells her to come with him? But as the story progressed, I grew to like her and the other characters (Jack and Stellan). There is sort of a love triangle, but I think it works perfectly. I am definitely team Jack though. What prevented me from giving this book a solid 5 stars is that I’m still confused about the whole Dauphins and Saxons family and the whole Circle shinanigins. I think the sequel will elaborate more about the family and how they work. Hopefully we’re going to be introduced to the other 10 families. Another reason why I am giving this a 3.5 star rating is because some of the action scenes were hard to picture, and the girl on the cover def. doesn’t match up Avery’s descriptions in the book. Also, don’t expect for all the answers to be revealed in this book because it ends in a huge cliffhanger (*sobs*). What I loved about this book is the adventure that Jack and Avery goes through. It’s crazy how this book took place in 2-3 days! Like, get some rest people! They went from the U.S. to Paris to Istanbul then to Paris again! Overall I recommend you to read this. I think it’s a great book to start the series. I’ll definitely be reading the sequel once it comes out.

I’m glad you liked this, I also want to read (will definitely grab me some copy!). I’m fine with love triangle, although it has to be well executed, otherwise I’m going to be exasperated, LOL. And I think I need some adventures. Sounds like a good book, now I’m completely convinced!

There’s sort of a love triangle but not really. I guess it’s more of a forbidden love and an arranged marriage.
I am DYING to read this book! The love triangle makes me wary a bit but then again, I’m getting used to reading it. I hope this one is at least tolerable. But oh my god, Paris! Istanbul! Hopefully the settings are described well enough haha xD I love visiting places through reading 😀
The love triangle isn’t that big! It’s sort of a love triangle but it totally works in this book.
Woah, that is a LOT of travel. I kind of want to read this one, but I haven’t heard rave things about it so far and there are waaaay too many books on my TBR as is. x)

Right!? That’s crazy how they were able to go to different places and still have the energy to kick butt.
Yeah I’d be turned off at first by a character who just goes trusting strangers like that but I’ve heard quite a lot of things about this one so I’ll probably keep that in mind when I go into this one.

Lol, Avery does sound kind of dumb — she’s just asking for trouble. And let me guess… the guy she blindly follows in the beginning turns out to be part of the love triangle? xD Even though you liked the love triangle, I’m still feeling wary of it for some reason. Maybe it’s because the events only take place within 2 – 3 days (wtf?!) and there’s already TWO guys falling for our sweet, dear main character?? It’s unrealistic, haha. But it’s good that the two guys involved were likable, though. It means a lot when you’re able to ship a couple, or a love triangle!

Nope nope nope 🙂 I thought it was going to be him too but it’s not! The love triangle doesn’t really come in until the end of the book.
Lol I know . The cover kinda pissed me off. All they needed to do was change her eye color and hair color then it would’ve been perfect.

I am all for stranger danger, so a character who trusts very easily will always get a huge side eye from me.
I also don’t like action scenes that are hard to imagine! I feel like it takes a certain talent to write them really well and really vividly, so it’s a shame that this one fell flat in that aspect.
Gosh it annoys me when a front cover model doesn’t match a description. Like, why would you waste a cover opportunity like that???

This has been getting some really high ratings, so it was good to see a more objective view on the whole thing. I’m glad you liked it overall, despite the confusing things. One thing I’m confused about is how someone can flight to three different countries and back in the space of 3 days?! I guess it depends on the flight times, but I hope they were taking private jets!
